Welcome, I'm Kathy McKee I have 38 years experience in show business!

I have worked here in Michigan (my birthplace), Los Angeles, New York and around the world in the entertainment industry since 1967. In addition to working behind the camera and casting films, shorts, commercials and TV shows, I've also spent a lot of time in front of the camera as an actor and morning talk show host .

I found my niche in casting, due in part to a friend I was blessed to have Mali Finn — a well-known Hollywood casting director that often contacted me here in Michigan to find actors.  I have an intuition a unique gift for finding the right person for a role.

I have worked with many great stars and legends over the years, including Richard Pryor, Demond Wilson, Johnny Carson, Sammy Davis Jr., Bill Cosby, and Norman Lear, Billy Crystal. I also traveled and worked with my dear friend, the renowned film distributor and  television syndicator, Sandy Frank, I know and understand all aspects of the entertainment business.

I love my work as a casting director and practice balance, harmony, and kindness above all else. Kathy McKee Casting will make finding the right characters for your project seem to appear like magic and make life easier for you. Above all, I keep it simple.
