Understanding the Entertainment Industry is not easy it’s helpful to get the facts this seminar is dedicated to the sincere actor- entertainer - performer.

Join Casting Director/Actor/ Kathy McKee for a family friendly Seminar designed to educate folks on how to break into show business and get on a set making money in Michigan and all over the USA.  Let Kathy steer you in the right direction without breaking your bank and wasting time. Immerse yourself in this seminar all about the protocols & rituals of this show business.

This program is designed to help you understand the nature of the entertainment business and help you assimilate to this new industry and the possibilities that exist out there, what you can do to have a career.  Without this education an entertainment professional may find themselves failing opportunity after opportunity by making errors they are not aware of.

This three hour seminar will touch on many important aspects of the industry for the new comer to the entertainment business the “in’s and out’s” of the entertainment industry.  Audience members will learn what is expected of them and what to expect from others as they engage in their new career.  Learn how you can participate in the films & TV shows now shooting all around Michigan.

Kathy McKee is proud of her mother’s roots which all hail from Hancock MI.  

Ms. McKee has a 43 year career in the entertainment industry.  Mentored by Sammy Davis Jr., she received her first role in television & SAG (Screen Actors Guild) card in 1970 on The New Bill Cosby Show.  She worked as a popular actress in Hollywood on sitcoms including a guest appearance on SNL with original cast members. Kathy worked all throughout the 70’s & 80’s before moving on to become the number one Los Angeles Morning Talk Show Host for KHJ-TV.  After, she traveled as a guest host AM New York and AM Boston for ABC Network.  Ms. McKee was also invited as an adjunct visiting professor at Michigan Tech University in 1991 in the humanities department. 

While in Michigan where her roots are, she teaches and guides other local talents on their path to show business success.  Kathy is wrapping up work on her long awaited behind closed doors memoir tell all book about her life with Sammy Davis Jr. & many other celebrities she shared her life with in Hollywood.  

Kathy & her partner are currently preparing for their the new SITCOM pilot  “ My House”  to be scheduled for a cable release next year 2013.Working with renown legend TV & film  syndicator Sandy Frank Entertainment New York, NY.
